Journal of Islamic and Christian Thought in Africa (JICTA)

The institute will launch an online, peer-reviewed Journal of Islamic and Christian Thought in Africa (JICTA). The journal will encourage African academics to reflect and publish on issues at the intersections between religion and society in Africa. Articles will be subjected to academic scrutiny in keeping with Prof. Sanneh’s commitment to excellence. The journal will also disseminate findings produced by research projects undertaken under the institute’s auspices or supportive of its mission.

Open Call for Submissions: First Edition

In a fragmented world, The Sanneh Institute, through its publication JICTA, offers a collective space to imagine, create, and propose new models of missiological and theological inquiry in the face of radical global change and ecological and social crises. Published two times per year, all issues include the broadest possible calls for submission. Issues will gather knowledge at the intersections of religion and society in Africa.
